Division 03
Technology & Engineering
Design office support for electrical and electronic engineering, plus websites, web applications, integrations, cloud, automation, dashboards, and SaaS platforms.
Overview
Engineering support with a clear boundary
This division covers technical design, analysis, documentation, and engineering support for electrical and electronic work. It also covers digital engineering for owners who need a system to do one named job.
All divisions are listed on Services. When the project needs a technology roadmap or fractional technology leadership, see Management & Advisory. When it needs project delivery, federal contracting support, or business systems, see Operations & Systems.
Each project starts with a written scope. The scope names what is included, what is excluded, and how the work will be shown at checkpoints.
Service groups
Three ways to work with this division
Electrical Engineering
Design office support for electrical projects that need clear calculations, system design, and documented options.
Compare technical options against cost, load, and operating constraints.
Medium voltage and low voltage system design support.
Early-stage design, layout review, and documentation support.
Electronic Engineering
Design office support for electronic, embedded, and control work that needs a documented technical path.
Support for electronic system design, embedded logic, and related documentation.
Support for measurement, control, and monitoring design questions.
Notes, calculations, and drawings support for a clear handover.
Digital Engineering
Websites, custom web applications, integrations, cloud, automation, dashboards, and SaaS platforms for a named business job.
Mobile-first pages, a lead or quote form, and handover notes.
A short requirements brief, a scoped build, and test notes.
One mapped connection, tested before handover.
Hosting outline, deployment path, access and backup notes.
Approved questions, lead capture, and handover to a person.
One connected source, a single dashboard, and a data quality note.
Platform mapping, setup notes, and process documentation.
Federal contracting support covers bid readiness and proposal work; we do not award contracts. Engineering services are technical design, analysis, documentation and engineering support.
Digital engineering
Websites, applications, and operating systems
Digital engineering is written in plain terms: the system has a job, the scope names the job, and the build follows the job.
A free initial consultation, or a website review when the work is a site, is how an engagement starts. It is not a separate product and it does not oblige you to continue.
Websites
Problem. The site is slow on a phone, or a visitor cannot tell how to ask for the work.
Approach. We review the current site, agree the pages and the request path, then build and hand it over. We do not guarantee search rankings, map positions or leads. Paid advertising management is outside the scope unless a written scope says otherwise.
Typical deliverables.
- Mobile-first pages
- A lead or quote form
- Handover notes
Custom web applications and integrations
Problem. Staff retype the same job into several systems, and nothing is the system of record.
Approach. We write a short requirements brief, then build the application or the one connection you need, and test that path before handover. APIs are used when they are the smallest reliable connection.
Typical deliverables.
- A requirements brief
- The build or one mapped connection
- Deployment or test notes
Cloud and DevOps
Problem. Deploys are manual, access is shared, or nobody can say whether backups exist.
Approach. We document where the system runs, who can change it, and how a release and a backup work. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime.
Typical deliverables.
- A hosting outline
- A deployment path
- Access and backup notes
AI chatbots and workflow automation
Problem. After-hours callers hang up, and repeat follow-ups sit with the owner.
Approach. We use the questions you approve, capture the lead, and hand the conversation to a person. The assistant does not send a binding quote unless your rules say so. We do not promise that every caller becomes a customer.
Typical deliverables.
- Approved questions and answers
- Lead capture
- A handover to a person
Dashboards and data
Problem. Leads, jobs, and revenue live in different places and do not match.
Approach. We connect one existing source and show it in a single view, with a note on data quality. A chart does not create revenue.
Typical deliverables.
- One connected source
- A single dashboard
- A note on data quality
SaaS platforms
Problem. Off-the-shelf tools do not match the process, or data sits in several subscriptions.
Approach. We map the process, shape the platform around the scope, and document the setup. We do not promise that a platform creates revenue.
Typical deliverables.
- A platform map
- Setup notes
- Process documentation
If the digital system supports a regulated or industrial sector, review Industries to see where the work fits. For project coordination or business systems, see Operations & Systems.
How it works
Scope, quote, and handover
- Discovery: a free consultation or a short call.
- Scope: a written list of what is included and excluded.
- Approval: you accept the scope. The final fee is a fixed quote after a free scope review.
- Implementation: we do the agreed work and show it at the checkpoints in the scope.
- Handover: you receive the files, access notes, and the support the scope names.
Get an Estimate shows a range in US dollars. Indicative estimate. Final fixed quote after a free scope review. The range is not a contract.
Questions
Will you promise first place on Google?
No. Local visibility work covers the listing, foundations, and citations. Rankings are not part of the promise.
Can an assistant email customers on its own?
Only under rules you approve, with a handover to a person. We name the tools and the data use in the scope.
Is the estimator the final price?
No. Indicative estimate. Final fixed quote after a free scope review.
Do engineering services include construction or system installation?
No. Engineering services are technical design, analysis, documentation and engineering support. Construction, installation, and testing are named separately in the scope.
